About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. Responsibilities include financial strategy, planning, and analysis, as well as budget development and financial administration. The CFO will also be responsible for inspiring and leading a talented team, ensuring sound fiscal management, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for an advanced degree, and at least 7 years of professional experience in financial management. A minimum of 5 years in a management role is required. The successful candidate will have a strong background in public sector accounting, auditing, and financial reporting standards, as well as a deep understanding of federal and state financial regulations. Key competencies include the ability to build and lead effective teams, strategic management of resources, and a commitment to the company's core values of integrity, ethics, and transparency. Experience with the Federal Transportation Agency and Department of Transportation procurement methodology is a plus. The CFO will be expected to work closely with the CEO and other executives, contributing to a unified and strategically aligned leadership group.
