Job Title: Live In Caregiver Visiting Angels
Location: Salt Lake City County

Compensation: $260 per day (MondayFriday), $280 per day (SaturdaySunday).

Job Description:
Visiting Angels is seeking dedicated and compassionate live-in caregivers to join our care team and provide 24/7 in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. As a live-in caregiver, you will stay in the clients home during your scheduled shifts, providing essential care and companionship. Please note: The clients home is not considered your permanent residence; it is a place to stay during your shift.

Caregivers work as part of a collaborative care team to ensure that every client receives high-quality support while maintaining their independence and comfort. You will be provided with a private room to complete your provided 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep per 24-hour shift and 3 hours of personal time daily.

Responsibilities:
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support clients with bathing, showering, toileting, and other hygiene needs.
Incontinence Care: Assist clients with changing briefs, emptying catheter bags, and stoma bag maintenance as needed.
Recovery Support: Provide care for clients recovering from surgery, hospital stays, or cancer treatments.
Transportation Services: Safely transport clients to appointments, errands, and outings.
Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary preferences.
Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful activities and conversations.
Safe Transfers & Mobility Assistance: Assist with transferring and mobility support.
Dementia/Alzheimers Care: Deliver specialized care for clients with dementia or Alzheimers.
Light Housekeeping: Help maintain a clean living environment with light tasks like laundry, dishes, and dusting.
Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take medications as prescribed.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid drivers license, proof of insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Negative TB test.
• Willingness to commit to a live-in care schedule.

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus.
• Experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in dementia or Alzheimers care is a plus.
• Dependable, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
