(Physician/MD qualifications required) Cardiology (Non-Invasive) - Cardiology General
Join an excellent, expanding Cardiology group in SE Indiana
Very little turnover. Providers tend to stay until retirement!!
Located less than an hour from Indianapolis and one hour to Cincinnati
Seeking non-invasive Cardiologist with excellent skills in reading Echos, Nuclear PET stress imaging, TEEs and Cardiac CT. The group is open to candidates with an interest in CCTA, cardiac MRI, or advanced Echo cardiography and would support additional training of needed.
Office staff consists of 5 Cardiologists, call will be 1:6. Call is generally light and very rare to have to go into the hospital.
Hospitalists take first call and generally do the admissions
Weekend call is 8am Saturday -8am Sunday with a dedicated NP assisting with rounds and patient discharges. Week night call is 5pm-8am
Full backing of 13 clinical support staff and 11 non-clinical staff
The office has 13 patient rooms
They plan to develop a Cardiovascular Center in their Level 2 medical office building located on the hospital campus. They will expand to include Medication management, cardiac rehab, pacemaker clinic, heart failure program, Echo, EKG, etc.
Average patients per day is 18-24
Average in patients census is 12-15
Work schedule is 5 days a week, 8am-4:30pm
Excellent starting salary in the mid $500k with bonus and an outstanding benefit package
