Brand Ambassador – Buresh Home Solutions – Cedar Rapids

Position Overview:

The Brand Ambassador serves as the initial point of contact for customers at Buresh Home Solutions’ showroom and at events throughout Eastern Iowa. This role requires a deep understanding of Buresh’s home improvement solutions—including windows and doors, and the ability to present them in a friendly, approachable manner. You’ll work closely with the sales team, coordinate and support home shows and community events, assist in customer education, and schedule sales appointments that help Iowans improve their homes in line with Buresh’s reputation for premium quality and service excellence.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Present and Demonstrate Buresh Home including windows and doors using showroom samples, digital tools, and collateral materials, highlighting durability, energy efficiency, design options, and benefits.
  • Product Knowledge Participate in initial and ongoing product training for Pella Windows & Doors. Will include offsite in person and online training sessions.
  • Customer Engagement: Welcome every walk-in or appointment client, answering questions and guiding conversations to uncover needs, explain the Buresh process, and share financing and discount opportunities (such as those for seniors, first responders, military, and teachers).
  • Lead Qualification and Appointment Setting: Qualify homeowners and other customers via phone, email, social media, and in-person and capturing leads in CRM.
  • Event Support: Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of showroom events, home shows, and community expos—showcasing Buresh’s standing as a local leader in home solutions and their multiple Pella Platinum Partner accolades (2021-2023).
  • Showroom Excellence: Keep the showroom pristine and inviting, ensure displays are functional and up to date, address repairs, and maintain ample product literature and samples. Exemplify Buresh’s standards of safety and hospitality in every interaction.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Comfortably interact with a variety of stakeholders—homeowners, designers, contractors, and Buresh team members—serving as a brand steward for quality and trust.
  • Knowledge Maintenance: Stay current on evolving home improvement trends, Buresh service offerings, and competitors, always ready to provide informed advice and direct advanced inquiries to specialists within the company.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to provide coverage and support at both the Des Moines and Cedar Rapids/Iowa City locations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; AA, technical degree, or related field preferred
  • 0-2 years’ customer service, sales, or showroom experience preferred; familiarity with home improvement, construction, or window and door solutions a plus
  • Ability to analyze and present information both verbally and in writing
  • Professional appearance; adherence to Buresh’s dress code as a role model for the team and guests
  • Basic math and reasoning abilities for common business scenarios and measurements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; ready to learn Buresh and partner software systems (CRM, etc.)

Physical Demands:

Role includes standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and some lifting (up to 25 pounds); seasonal flexibility required.
