Experienced Bookkeeper for Medical Practice in Atlanta (Gwinnett area), GA
Busy four (4) physician medical practice with ASC center is seeking an in-house Bookkeeper with 3+ years of experience to perform accounts payable, bank reconciliations and benefits coordination duties. The right candidate for this role must have a professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requires intermediate to advanced QuickBooks experience with classed financial statements. Must have knowledge of General Accounting Principles, intermediate to advanced level Excel skills, and familiarity with payroll processing. This position reports directly to the medical practice administrator and will interact with accounting firm and physician owners. Must be able to handle confidential payroll matters and company finances.
Experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of medical insurance billing preferred but not required. Associates degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred.
