A skilled Billing Specialist / AR Manager is needed to handle claims processing, manage accounts receivable (AR), and address denials for a busy billing department. This role requires experience in medical billing, particularly in working with insurance claims, and a focus on timely, accurate processing to support financial operations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Processing and submitting claims to insurance providers with a high level of accuracy.
• Managing accounts receivable, including tracking outstanding balances and ensuring timely collections.
• Addressing denied claims, researching issues, and working with insurance companies to resolve denials efficiently.
• Monitoring claim status and following up to ensure all payments are received as expected.
• Generating reports on AR metrics and providing insights to improve claim processing and collections.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Proven experience in medical billing, particularly with insurance claims.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable management and claim denial processes.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in billing and claims handling.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with insurance providers and internal team members.
• Proficiency in billing software and understanding of healthcare billing codes.
