  • Implement evidenced based ABA treatment programs specifically designed for students with identified special needs in the school setting
  • Ensure integrity of program implementation by following the behavior plan, utilizing scripts, prompting and reinforcement as required, collecting accurate data and providing daily documentation
  • Provide ongoing documentation and accurate feedback to all IBIC case manager/supervisor within required deadlines
  • Attend monthly team meetings and complete mandatory trainings

· Able to exercise professionalism, confidentiality and discretion pertaining all aspects of the work environment

· Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor

· A bachelor's degree in: Child Development, Special Education, Education, Clinical Psychology, Psychology or a related field (required) with educational coursework completed in the areas of Behavior Analysis is PREFERRED.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent REQUIRED

· Documented experience assisting children with special needs

· Prior work experience with provision of ABA, positive behavior supports and crisis intervention for students with emotional disabilities in the school setting is preferred

· An ability to work with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse populations

· Must be Technologically proficient

· Must be able to pass the individual units of the competency based training program

· Bilingual, in Spanish, is an asset

Work hours:

· Full-time and Part-time opportunities are now available

· Assignments are school based usually from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

· Several openings in school settings within the Los Angeles Unified School District area
