Eaton's FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Basket Fabrication- Production Welder (2nd Shift).
The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour. The second shift hours are as follows; 2pm - 10pm.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do: Position Overview: You will be responsible for producing a quality part efficiently. Eaton provides custom complex profile Filters and Strainers for a wide variety of customers and industries. Eaton's value-added fabrication can provide customers with the capabilities to complete any production.

Qualifications: Experience: •Previous metal fabrication experience preferred
•High School Diploma / GED required.
Skills: Applicant must be able to do the following: - Read and interpret prints, charts, work orders and other documents used in the manufacture of strainer baskets
- Accurately use measurement and cutting equipment such as tape measures calipers, hand shears, table shear, drill press, cut off tools, grinders, engraver and inductive spot welding machines
- Use roll forming equipment and perform simple assembly of metal components
- Meet quality and productivity objectives and targets for department
- Assist with cycle counting of inventory and annual physical inventory as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Follow all established job procedures
- Adhere to Eaton, Safety, Environmental and Ethical policies and procedures
- Work with limited supervision
- Will rotate shifts and work overtime as required
- Candidate must be a team player and willing to perform other tasks as required
- This is a smoke free facility
- Computer / software skills a plus
