Job Title: AWS Databricks Architect (Onsite)

Location: Plano, TX.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own the design and implementation of scalable and secure solutions using Databricks and AWS.
• Be responsible for the development and deployment of data pipelines and workflows to ensure efficient data processing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the architecture aligns with industry standard processes and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular reviews of the architecture to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and implementations.
• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Monitor system performance and implement vital adjustments to maintain optimal functionality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the architecture.
• Engage with collaborators to communicate technical concepts and project progress in a clear and concise manner.
• Apply domain expertise in Account Management-Acquirer to design solutions that meet specific business needs.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the architecture remains cutting-edge.

Required Qualifications:

• 14 to 16 years of experience.
• Possess extensive experience with Databricks and AWS demonstrating a deep understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
• Have a strong background in Account Management-Acquirer with the ability to apply domain knowledge to technical solutions.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Databricks Certified Professional Data Engineer

Salary and Other Compensation :

Applications will be accepted until 09/08/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $137,500.00 – $161,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
