Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a AVP, KYC Compliance Analyst-Mandarin to join their dedicated team. As a AVP, KYC Compliance Analyst-Mandarin, you will be an integral part of the Compliance Department supporting the KYC and AML functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: New York, NY 10172 (Onsite)

Pay Range: $75-93K

What's the Job?

• Support the Branch’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance program, focusing on KYC, CIP, CDD, EDD, and trade finance customer due diligence.
• Review and approve KYC profiles for new and existing customers, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and internal policies.
• Conduct quality control reviews of customer KYC profiles throughout their lifecycle to maintain compliance standards.
• Perform alert disposition on name screening and resolve KYC-related escalations efficiently.
• Assist with internal audits, regulatory inquiries, and remediation efforts to uphold compliance integrity.

What's Needed?

• 3-6 years of AML/KYC/CDD/EDD-related experience within the financial industry.
• Working knowledge of BSA/AML/CFT, CIP/KYC, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and related regulations.
• Experience with AML policies, procedures drafting, and compliance systems such as Surety, Bridger Insight, LexisNexis, etc.
• Solid understanding of commercial banking products and services, including trade finance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Candidate needs to be bilingual in Mandarin (read, write and translate)
