Position Overview
As a Buffer, you'll be a key member of the finishing team, responsible for polishing and perfecting the vehicle's final surface after painting. This role ensures the delivery of flawless, high-gloss finishes that meet Gabe's standard of excellence.
Responsibilities
Polishing & Correction: Buff and polish painted vehicle surfaces to remove imperfections, swirl marks, and achieve a consistent high-gloss finish.
Final Finish Quality Check: Inspect vehicles for clarity, texture, and surface uniformity prior to delivery.
Tool & Product Management: Use appropriate compounds, pads, and tools while keeping the buffing area clean and organized.
Collaboration: Work closely with painters, detailers, and production leads to ensure consistent quality and workflow.
Safety & Compliance: Follow shop safety protocols including PPE use and proper handling of chemical products.
Light Detailing: Assist with final vehicle presentation, including wiping surfaces and removing dust or residue.
