Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create and maintain line sheets and presentation decks utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to effectively showcase our collections.
2. Develop both digital and physical presentation boards, along with sales tools, to assist the sales and merchandising teams in their efforts.
3. Support major account meetings by organizing samples and showrooms, ensuring all sales aids are prepared and presented professionally.
4. Manage the execution and upkeep of fabric and print development for key accounts, ensuring alignment with the design vision.
5. Order fabrics and trims while maintaining accurate inventory records.
6. Communicate effectively with internal teams and factories regarding lab dip, strike-off, and knit-down approvals to ensure quality standards are met.
7. Contribute to the visual merchandising aspect of showroom setups for account meetings by showcasing a strong aesthetic sensibility.
8. Handle administrative tasks including photographing samples, tagging, organizing, and filing to maintain an efficient workflow.
9. Utilize Adobe Photoshop to recolor and manipulate prints, placing them into proper repeats for production readiness.

Requirements:

• 3 to 4 years of experience in apparel merchandising or design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• A solid understanding of color theory, print aesthetics, and fabric characteristics.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential; familiarity with Microsoft Office/Excel is also required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• A working knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and textiles is preferred.
