Job Details

Our esteemed law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in bankruptcy law to join our team.

The ideal candidate will need to have experience representing commercial clients.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings and related matters, including litigation, mediations, and negotiations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents such as motions, pleadings, orders, and agreements.
• Provide expert legal counsel to clients on bankruptcy laws, procedures, and potential outcomes.
• Conduct thorough research to support legal proceedings and to prepare legal memorandums.
• Develop and manage relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and to maintain the firm's reputation for excellent client service.
• Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to share knowledge, brainstorm solutions, and ensure best practices.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in the field of bankruptcy law.
• Active member in good standing with the state bar of PA.
• Proven experience in forbearance and a strong understanding of bankruptcy proceedings.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve matters favorably and efficiently.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
• Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal documents and to prepare compelling legal arguments.
