summary Remedy is Hiring for Aluminum Welders for a metal fabrication shop located in West Jacksonville! 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday $18 - 22 per hour depending on experience and onsite weld test Aluminum MIG Welder Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Safety conscious and familiar with standard safety rules and policies Good communication and team working skills. Coachable and trainable Must be able to meet and/or exceed production goals. MIG welding of Mild Steel & Aluminum (Certifications a plus) Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings. Ability to arrange and fit prepared components into fabricated products. Knowledge of grinding and sanding of welded areas to various degrees of finishing Other duties as assigned. May operate equipment such as band saw, tube bender, or other shop equipment. Must pass welding test prior to employment. Must provide own tools (welding helmet, tape measure, framing square, welding pliers) Safety toe boots required.
