Job Description

Scope of Position:

Highly motivated and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong attention to detail to assist the Accounts Receivable Manager with daily general accounting tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

List what the person must do to perform the job to meet standards.

• Organizes and prioritizes assignments and contributes to the department's ability to meet or exceed goals and standards
• Demonstrates attention to details and good-record-keeping
• Hands on detailed oriented task
• Collaborates with other teams in the organization
• Demonstrates a proficient level of professional skills and or/knowledge in accounting and keep current with developments and trends
• Exhibits the knowledge and ability to use applicable information technology and systems to meet work needs
• Prepares assorted documents and other related materials
• Processes and applies check payments
• Assigns and maintains customer master maintenance files
• Assists with other projects as needed including year-end audit
• Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested

The Accounts Receivable Specialist must possess the minimum knowledge listed below:

• Associates degree preferred, but not required
• Three -- Four years of Accounts Receivable experience/booking keeping receivable experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Must be reliable and self-motivated and possess the ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work at all times
• Must be able to work in stressful conditions under time deadlines
• Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
