Help Wanted:

Accounting Clerk

Sample News Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position will assist with daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, & general ledger support.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing invoices, payments & receipts


• Reconciling bank statements & company accounts


• Assisting with payroll & employee expense reports


• Maintaining accurate financial records & filing systems


• Supporting month-end & year-end closing processes

Qualifications:

• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred


• Strong attention to detail & accuracy


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Accounting software


• Ability to work independently & as part of a team


• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in accounting a plus
