The Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and Marketing Automation Manager supports the planning, development and execution of account-based marketing and marketing automation campaigns.
They will act as a key strategic resource for the Digital team in support of the larger Marketing organization's digital campaign content and optimization. In this role, they will be a trusted advisor, providing best practice guidance to colleagues for digital marketing campaigns in partnership with cross functional teams and agencies.
The Manager will play a key role on the Digital Marketing Strategy team by assisting in the execution of our digital marketing strategy, including the implementation of campaigns through enterprise systems and marketing automation technology.
They will collaborate with colleagues, internal resources, and external agencies to develop and execute optimized digital marketing efforts that support our marketing and communications strategies and campaigns across the enterprise.
The Manager also supports the technical and governance aspects of client's ABM and marketing automation platforms by proposing and consulting on enhancements to this technology for the organization.
This includes supporting current platforms, supporting efforts to upgrade and migrate teams to new platforms, and retiring inactive platforms as needed.
The position reports to the Director, Digital Marketing and is based in our Secaucus NJ office (hybrid).
Responsibilities
• Function as a "Power User” of the company's marketing automation and ABM systems.
• Serve as the primary administrator for the company's primary ABM system, managing enhancements, maintenance, and governance on the platform.
• Participate as a workstream lead for new martech implementation projects.
• Plan and administer marketing campaigns; test and analyze workflow, lead generation, lead nurturing and lead scoring; and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage initiatives to architect, add, or enhance additional components to marketing automation platform.
• Manage user groups, configure and generate reports, and organize assets/campaigns within the marketing automation system.
• Lead new user and new feature training sessions online and in-person.
• Develop an understanding of organizational data in order to segment campaigns for appropriate target audiences.
• Collaborate with peers and agencies to develop and support digital marketing campaigns.
• Contribute to a marketing campaign calendar to provide organizational insight into campaigns being planned and executed.
• Guide and mentor possible direct reports and cross functional resources on ABM and marketing automation strategies, analysis, planning, and execution.
• Provide regular and ad hoc communications to senior management regarding projects, updates, etc.

• Execute projects on time as scheduled.
• Successful implementation of digital strategies for marketing campaigns.
• Manage and maintain the current implementation of Demandbase.
• Support and maintain governance for managed systems, such as Eloqua, Demandbase, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required Work Experience:
• 5+ years' experience in digital marketing, including a focus on marketing automation and account-based marketing.
Preferred Work Experience:
• Certification in ABM, Marketing Automation and associated platforms is a plus.
Knowledge:
• Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, optimal marketing technology use, and use cases.
• Knowledge of website content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
• Experience developing audience and persona profiles for campaign targeting.
• Understanding of current privacy regulations and their impact to marketing technology use.
Skills:
• Fully proficient with various software programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree Required
