  • We are seeking a dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. As an ABA Therapist, you will work with individuals, particularly children, to implement behavior management techniques and strategies.

Employment Overview:

  • ABA therapist perform a vital role in the treatment and assistance for individuals with autism. They collaborate closely with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other experts to implement behavior plans, gather data, and support skill development programs. Precise data gathering is crucial in the treatment of autism since it yields significant insights into individuals development and facilitates informed decision-making. Behavior Therapists have the duty of gathering and recording data pertaining to the behavioral objectives specified in the behavior plan. The BCBA analyzes this data to evaluate the efficacy of therapies and make data-driven modifications to the treatment plan.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Utilize the fundamental concepts of applied behavior analysis (ABA), including reinforcing, prompting, and shaping strategies.
  • Instruct individuals in social and practical skills necessary for everyday life.
  • Efficiently manage and decrease challenging or disruptive behavior.
  • Establish an enjoyable and inspiring atmosphere to cultivate optimal achievement in each individual.
  • Gather data on ABA programming objectives and use an online system to input, monitor, and observe progress.
  • Provide support to parents and caregivers with the goal to assist them achieve optimal achievement in all aspects of the child's surroundings.
  • Ensure a regular and predictable timetable for appointments with clients. Implement programs designed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Ensures the confidentiality and integrity of the company and clients at all times, in compliance with BACB and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • - HS, AS, or Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Special Education, or related field

- Experience working with children in a behavioral therapy setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Strong diagnostic evaluation skills
- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively.
