A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Machine Operator 2, in Sparks, MD.
The Operator 2, Machine will be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This is a full-time position offering 40+ hours per week.

Compensation:

• The pay for this position is $18.00 per hour + $0.55 shift differential
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights:

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to be hired permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday - Thursday) or 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday - Friday) with overtime on weekends as needed
• Training on 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 1:30 AM Monday - Thursday OR 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday - Friday) for approximately 6-8 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, clean, reassemble, wrap, and code production equipment following standard procedures
• Rotate dated equipment and raw materials according to established procedures
• Operate autoclave and other equipment to process materials per approved guidelines
• Deliver all production supplies to designated locations and maintain kitchen supply inventory
• Follow FDA, GMP, and ISO9000 regulations to ensure compliance and record-keeping accuracy
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals and objectives
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Experience: 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for 50-95% of the workday
• Capable of passing a physical exam for forklift operation and respirator fit test
• Must be proficient in English (reading, writing, and basic math)
• Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Windows environment
• Ability to work independently while following standard operating procedures
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed
• Safety gear (such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, respirators, and hearing protection) may be required
